Job Description:

Preparing financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including detailed commentary there to
Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
Building and overseeing the accounting staff, and the financial analysts
Mentoring accountants for purposes of ensuring that their accounting and analysis duties are done well
Protect company assets by establishing, documenting, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Responsible for periodic fixed assets physical verification in the Store and report on addition, transfer, stolen and damaged assets
Ensuring that the financial records are accurate
Ensuring that every expense is properly documented
Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month
Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled at the end of every quarter.
Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled at the end of every financial year
Preparing profitability reports of the company including strategies to improve such on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations
Ensuring that the decision makers in the firm understand the financial implications of the missions they set for their company in a specific period
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans.
Drive achievement of budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Responsible for inventory management including stock balancing and accountability and regular physical verification
Responsible for cash/treasury management including bank relationship and accounts management
Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements including tax by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Coordinating with all relevant departments in the Company to obtain accurate operating data for operating performance tracking and the preparation of management reports.
Assist in ensuring the efficiency of the operations of the factory
Supports the production Manager in the preparation of financial data required for forecasting and/or planning
Provide business analysis and intelligence on operations trends in the factory
Monitor regularly sales trends in the shops and provide required data and information for operators to effectively manage business

Educational Qualifications/Experience:

First degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance or Financial Management
Certified Chartered Accountant; ICAN, ACCA or equivalent
Requires minimum of 2 years of financial and administrative experience in food manufacturing industry
